There are some three ways in which you can transport your skating gear to ice skating locations.
Firstly, you can simply pack your skating gear into a bag, and carry it with you manually to the skating locations, if the locations happen to be within walking distance. This way, you get to exercise, even as you head to the skating locations.
Secondly, you can pack your skating gear into a bag, and then transport it using public means to the skating locations, if the skating locations happen to be well served by public transport.
Thirdly, you can use your own private car to transport your skating gear to the ice skating locations. Suppose, for instance, that you have a huge family, and all members of that family have interests in skating. Suppose, also, that you have one of the cars in the 7 passenger vehicles list designed for folks with large families (like the Mazda CX-9 or the Dodge van). Whenever you need to go skating as a family, you can simply be packing your skating gear into the car, and then driving to the skating locations. This way of doing things would also give you the chance to bond, as a family.
